Dear Beautiful digestive system,

I adore you, I admire you, and I am intrigued by you. I appreciate your willingness and strength to constantly digest the food I eat and toxins I seem to bring in from our not so lovely environment where there are pollutants in the air, water, food and even household cleaners.   It’s very different in this day and age where it’s much harder to find a clean way of living, which once before we all took for granted. I know I can get overwhelmed, stressed, and sometimes not able to cook the best foods and rely on the simple/faster foods that I know aren’t my best choices, however, you always seem to keep pursuing forward and willing to break down and digest what goes into my mouth. I want to do everything I can to help you and make your life easier, so as I have begun a year ago, as I noticed you having some challenges, and recognizing your fatigue, I made a promise to you to feed myself with healthy foods, and recognize that maybe we have a little harder time breaking things down as do other people. This was hard for me, I do have to admit, because I want to believe I am invincible, but, I recognize that when I was a child I didn’t have or know the best choices for you and the rest of my body. I harmed you with fast food, quick snacks, and all sorts of food like substances which no doubt where loaded with chemicals that you have been fighting off for years. I want you to know much I cherish you and rely on you to keep helping this body be the best it can be. So, as I said before, I’ll continue to eat the best I can eat, organically, GMO-free, and as locally grown as I can, plus you also seem as though you love eating seasonally.   I also wanted to say I also hear you speaking to me and I recognize you, where many times I just expect you to pull through, and that’s not very fair. I will also give you support with different herbs and supplements as I know you love enzymes as well. I hope you love the digestive enzyme that I have been taking for the past few months as when I take it I feel a sense of ease. I made the switch to megaspores and hope you love them, they are probiotics in spore form and provides help in re-colonizing our own micro-biotia with what we need to flourish. I also have been helping with mega mucosa, which has helpers to help build the intestinal wall back from years of bad diet, parasites, fungus, yeasts, and bacteria that has broken you down. Leaky gut is no joke and I know you are working hard, but without the resources from me to keep up daily with great supplements, herbs, organic ingredients, vitamins, minerals, and or course micro biota helpers its been hard in the past. I vow to continue from today and everyday forward to keep you healthy the best way I know how, limiting foods that don’t serve you and bring in the cleanest, healthiest, and loving foods for you to enjoy digesting and breaking down for the rest of me to assilulate all the nutrients. I thank you, and I love you dearly.

Your humble and loving body, Jen

Here is a list that I will continue to take to support you and I also included a receipt that I will make for you as well.

Foods and Supplements that you will love:

Digestive enzyme’s: Amylase, Protease, Lipase, L-Glutamic acid, HCL, Pepsin, Ox bile

L-glutamine, aloe vera, deglycyrrhized licorice root, green tea, fiber foods, flaxseeds, green powders, take probiotics, and megaspores, taking pre-biotics, water!!, bone broth, alkaline foods, all vegetables, and high antioxidant fruits like berries, green apples, and papayas.

Here’s a receipt: I love Bone broth and thought it would be a great healer for you too:

Step 1: Ingredients:

Buy bones from a health food store, can be beef, chicken, fish, lamb, venison, I do a mixture for a more flavorful taste. Seaweed any kind (I love wakame or Kombu), sea Salt, apple cider vinegar, and veggies, like an onion, garlic, carrots, parsley, celery.

Step 2: bake/cook bones in oven at 350 for 30mins while putting in 16 cups of filtered water in a slow cooker.

Step 3: Add cooked bones, seaweed (handful) sea salt – about 4 teaspoons, and 2 teaspoons of ACV, also add as much carrots, onions, garlic, and celery as you want for delicious flavor. (I personally don’t do the veggies and still love the flavor)

Step 4: Cook on HIGH heat for 1 hour, then turn to LOW heat for 24 hours (or longer if desired).

Step 5: You’re done!  Strain the broth and bottle in glass jars and store in fridge for 5 days, or freeze. OR: keep it on the WARM setting and drink all day long, just keep adding water a cup at a time everytime you take a cup, add in a few pieces of seaweed and the salt and ACV every time you take around 4 cups, this way you can keep drinking if you are doing a 3 day Bone broth cleanse or just want to keep drinking it through the day. ENJOY!!!

When I think of Bone broth I think “healing gut health” specifically. Bone broth is rich in minerals that support the immune system, plus collagen from the bones heal the guts’ lining, and can even reduce inflammation. Bone broth also contains supportive minerals, vitamins and the bones themselves have glutamine (Links to an external site.), glycine, and proline, great amino acids!

Many Benefits:

  • It is made from 100% grass fed beef bones, (buy from a health food store for best bones.)
  • It has high amounts of collagen, glycine and amino acids great for improving the digestion.
  • Slow-simmered so that protein and nutrients are extracted from the bones so one can assimilate them easier.
  • Tastes really like “Mom’s” soup when sick as a kid…high flavor, nourishing, and filling!

Bone broth also contains glutamine, an important fuel for intestinal cells that may help repair leaky gut. Drinking 8-12 oz. in the morning helps especially if you are feeling a cold/flu coming on or just that all over tired feeling. Healing the gut maintains life for the rest of the body.

Bone Broth everyday keeps the doctor away. 🙂
