health pictureI often wonder why isn’t health the new wealth.  This of course is my question everyday, especially when I have a client who has just come back from the doctor and they were told to take some type of medication, instead of looking at what is going into the body as the source for disruption. Yes, absolutely take the medication if it is necessary, but it completely makes me crazy when there is zero talk about what is put in our body and how that is the main cause for imbalances. Its not “rocket science” for one to believe this, it’s just science. We are literally walking science experiments and we have taken it too far with ingesting  “food like substances” and GMO foods, chemical dosed plants, and packaged foods that I even have no idea what the label says for ingredients. Health is essential for the wealth of your body. You cannot have both, its impossible. Take care of your self now, and have a long life ahead of yourself, if not, you may just pay the consequences. Our body will do the best they can do for us, but if we abuse it, well then, I can possibly help you detox and get you back to the state health, but compliance is a must. I have worked with so many that would rather do a band-aid, a drug/pill, that doesn’t heal the issue, just covers it up.

I think the hardest thing for myself is to watch the T.V., listen to the news, NPR, and podcasts, about the Corona virus and how to handle the vaccine, yes or no? masks “laws” mandates, new rules, change of rules, social distancing, etc…but not once have I ever heard any of them talk about nutrition as a preventative measure, and a way to stay healthy in the “crisis” Yes I hear about Vit C, Vit D, and keeping your immune strong, and, I also hear how this virus loves people with diabetes, blood sugar imbalances, insulin resistance, people taking blood pressure medications, asthma, but again not one news story on “lets get healthy and not have these problems in the first place!”

This is all our “faults” The world is damaged, its sad that we spray pesticides on practically everything now, our food has become genetically modified, we have less water, greenhouse gases are overwhelming, fires will increase due to climate change, so much is happening and now this virus outbreaks and what do we want to do, slap another band-aid on the situation (vaccine.) Now, I actually like this mRNA vaccine, it seems pretty clean, no heavy metals, it doesn’t get into the DNA, our body fights the “directions” to the virus without the virus being in us. However, if you aren’t healthy you may have problems with even the vaccine. The constant complaining of people fighting the system, saying how there hasn’t been enough testing (well thats true we haven’t had enough time) and then complain, and complain about something else without ever responding with a solution….

Heres the solution, eat better, clean up your our body, and do the best you can do for yourself in regards to your own research whether you want the vaccine or not. The vaccine doesn’t keep you from getting the virus, just lessens your symptoms (and thank goodness) and it doesn’t mean you can’t spread it, as there is no imaginary “bubble” that wraps around you after getting the vaccine that keeps the virus off of you. I guess I think of it like flea medication for dogs…its not like the flea can’t get on the dog, but it won’t imbed into them as they have medicine in their blood, so the flea falls off within a very short time and moves on to the next thing it can find. (doesn’t mean that flea hasn’t now come in your house as it was hanging on the dog for that short time, next thing you know you have a flea in your house…silly yes, but I like to put a different perspective on things to be clear…

Healthy doesn’t mean you are weird, or uncool, why isn’t health the new wealth? This should be plastered everywhere, in schools, on billboards, in every Doctors office, and then taught! We can’t learn something that isn’t taught and what is taught is how to eat fast, and even faster, fast food, packaged food, T.V. meals, microwave meals…then we get into the craze of fat being bad for you, and then the keto craze of fat is good for you….(do you know how to eat fat) most eat the wrong kind of fat and way too much of the good kind. Nutritionists have gotten a weird “vibe” with being associated with dietitians, the food pyramid, and doing certain “diets”. None of which I am a part of. Every single person is an individual, with individual challenges, and issues, not one person is the same. Every person needs a little understanding of how and why some things work better for them and not for others. I do wish we could come together in this time, now that the world is in a pandemic of a virus over taking the really sick, elderly, and even some healthy and young, to really get our acts together and focus on well-being and health.
