detox picture Detoxification doesn’t just meaning cleansing the body, however, a good detoxification does the body good inside and out. When someone says detoxification, what do you think of? Not being able to eat certain foods, being restrictive on food choices and how much you can take in, calorie counting maybe, no sugar, no wheat, no dairy, no, no, no. Detoxing is something our bodies do on a daily basis, we make antioxidants to combat those free radicals that are made even when we breathe in air, or move about the kitchen to cook food, even thinking thoughts we are creating free radicals, and we need antioxidants to clear them away. Our bodies are doing numerous other things to constantly detox, the air we breathe, repairing the sore muscles after exercising, joint repair, combating the toxic foods we eat or drink, the list is lengthy.  So yes, a detoxification every 6 months will only benefit your entire health, but has anyone thought about the mind health? Our thoughts play a huge role in how our cells are created. I have taken numerous classes, webinars, workshops on mind health.  What do these emotions do to the body? Anger, rage, jealousy, irritability, negativity, these are lower emotions that can literally change the structure of your cells. Have you watched how water droplets change when different music is being played, or even writing a words of anger or joy on a piece of paper and placing it next to a glass of water, and seeing the molecules of water change into a beautiful harmony with the positive word or break apart from the negative word. We are water!! We are over 60% water! The brain and heart are around 70% water, the skin is 63% water, muscles and kidneys are much higher at almost 80% water, and our bones are even 30% water. This is fascinating, we can change ourselves from words.

Let us all do a week of word detoxification. If we spoke love about ourselves, and to ourselves in a loving way, or only used positive words everyday and every night what can we change in our bodies. I bet if you tried you would catch yourself even within the first day with some sort of negative talk, about someone, about yourself, about a neighbor, a tree, a job, a store, something. Can you catch yourself and only speak kindly and loving for one week and write down how you feel afterwards.

Cancer is scary, it’s intimidating, it’s everywhere now. Why do we get it, food choices? water choices? where we live? is it in our DNA and something got triggered and released it? I believe we all have cancer, cancer comes and cancer goes, our body gets rid of it, but when we are so toxic and inflamed, and too much stuff in our cells the body gets weak, immune shuts down, adrenals flatline, and cancer takes over. Self talk is critical. I have not done any studies on this personally but have read many about how so many people have healed themself through positive self talk. People heal from tragic accidents where they can’t walk and months later surprise doctors because they can walk again. Are these miracles, or are we just healing and detoxing. I do think some are pre-disposed to cancers, diseases, and even getting the flu over other people, however, we can all heal in the same way.  The power of the mind is the most powerful thing in our body. It’s just up to you to believe that.

Anger is scary, it’s intimidating and you want to hide from it, where does that come from, was it taught or learned? Is it triggered and the reaction comes out.? Now, anger is a normal emotion and meant to be felt but it’s what we do with it is the biggest concern. You can feed it and allow it to grow, or you can say, thanks for showing up and I realize this situation doesn’t work for me, but no negative angry reaction is required, lets communicate and find a way to work through the situation instead. Many feed the anger and allow it to grow, unless you are wise enough to be understanding of what is happening. This requires you to wake up.  Healing requires everyone to wake up.

Detoxification doesn’t just mean cleansing from food and water, it requires a mind, body and spirit connection. This is the work. This is the real deal. Are you with me? Do you want to really heal from the trauma that’s causing the weight gain, the bad skin, the liver burden, the toxic storm happening inside the body? I was this person, about 8 years ago I was “a toxic mess”, and needed a detox and didn’t know it. I wanted to change who I was, I grew up in an angry household and didn’t want to have the reactions to situations that I was having. I was fearful of everything and couldn’t enjoy life in a calm state and just Be. It started…I asked and I received. I started having panic attacks, anxiety attacks whenever I was away from home, or I felt an emotion that wasn’t fear or anger. It was different, I wanted to be different from the fearful, anxious, angry child I grew up to be, I made the commitment, and it was a healing crisis. But I learned, I learned about myself, my emotions, (that I actually had them), and joy started coming out, laughter came out, and tears, lots and lots of tears, and they were all so healing. I was detoxing, more positive thoughts coming in more anger going out. I was eating better, taking load of probiotics, no gluten, lots of B vitamins to calm the nervous system, adaptogen herbs for soothing the adrenals, and supporting myself, as no one in my family understood what was happening. I must say it was the best thing and the worst thing to go through. But here I am 8 years later and grounded, loving SELF, happy, no longer having anxiety, and if I do feel it coming on, I feel it, and let it go. I absolutely love myself and accept every part of me. I accept every part of my being in my skin, and I truly feel this is the true path to all healing, and diet and exercise give the body the boost to heal faster, and not allow too many free radicals to build up and keep that inflammation away.
