Each nutrition coaching session we will focus specifically to work on your health and wellness challenges to reach your goal/s. Gut health is the number one focus, as gut health contributes to most everything else happening in the body. Getting a healthy digestive system first allows the rest of the body to become balanced.

After many years of fine tuning my own health challenges, I honestly recognized that diet, and everything we put in our bodies, is what completely drives us.  We cannot put “food-like substances” in our bodies and expect optimal health, it’s just impossible. And, these days what are the good alternatives for wellness? What is the difference between organic and natural, non-GMO, free range, vegetarian feed compared to grass feed. It gets confusing. My role as nutrition practitioner is to not only support you but be your educator, your cheerleader, your team leader, your referee, and your nutritionist. Together we will find what works for you and only you.  We are all unique,  so please don’t compare yourself to anyone else, and what they eat. What works for one might not necessarily work for you.

Jen is board certified in holistic nutrition (BCHN) that works with diagnostic functional testing. She specializes in gut health and works with other health challenges including but not limited to detox, blood sugar balancing, weight loss, and hormones, balancing the body back to vitality. Let’s meet at my office in Kihei, Maui or at a location on Maui, coffee shops, health food stores, outside in the park, whatever you prefer to feel most comfortable. Virtual appointments available.

• Initial visit/consultation is 90 mins. I want to know your story, what are your goals, how did your symptoms arise, your background, lifestyle, and where do you want to see yourself at the end of our journey together. This session is all about getting to know each other. I will also put a program together for you after I gather all the relevant information and labs and get you started on the path to a clearer future. Isn’t it exciting to get on the path of better health, less pain, digesting and assimilating/utilizing food, less brain fog, less anxiety, and education on how, when, and what to eat.

• Grocery store walk through: learn to read labels, look at ingredient lists, ask what your favorite foods are and find better choices and options.  This is super informative, bring your shopping list, questions, probably my favorite way to teach, it’s like a session and education all in one.
